Ah yes.. Day 21 of Harper’s Anti-Environment/Anti-Kyoto Quotes has been reached.
Today’s quote involves Stevie using alliteration to describe his contempt for Kyoto:
“This is just the beginning of the biggest black-hole boondoggle in Canadian history.” (Stephen Harper, National Post, August 13, 2003)
Alliteration and hyperbole. A deadly mix.

For all you “13 years of Liberal inaction…blah blah blah” whiners notice the date of that quote - 2003. Harper himself is saying “this is the beginning”.
So in the interests of clarity and accuracy, the Liberals only sat on their hands for 5 years, not 13.
