You Con supporters bashing on China should use your rhetoric on something else instead.

Why don't you let the Harper government fall and run the next election on the real threat facing Western civilization today?

In fact, I may give you the ammo to hang yourself with
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2007/08/07/bcnchina107a.xml and

Pray to God everyday that Harper, Baird, Flaherty, MacKay, and Tancredo will protect you. If not, then let me ask you a question? Why does Finley and Solberg allow 270,000 to 300,000 immigrants into Canada every year? Many of them come from China with heavy promotion from the Provinces.
The noose is tightening on Harper. He may become a victim of his own arrogance.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('11161','mushroom','You Con supporters bashing on China should use your rhetoric on something else instead.\r\n\r\nWhy don\'t you let the Harper government fall and run the next election on the real threat facing Western civilization today?\r\n\r\nIn fact, I may give you the ammo to hang yourself with\r\nhttp:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/money\/main.jhtml?xml=\/money\/2007\/08\/07\/bcnchina107a.xml<\/a> and\r\nhttp:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Showdown-China-Wants-United-States\/dp\/1596980052<\/a>\r\n\r\nPray to God everyday that Harper, Baird, Flaherty, MacKay, and Tancredo will protect you. If not, then let me ask you a question? Why does Finley and Solberg allow 270,000 to 300,000 immigrants into Canada every year? Many of them come from China with heavy promotion from the Provinces.\r\nThe noose is tightening on Harper. He may become a victim of his own arrogance. '); return false;">Quote

Aaron, Someday you will either wake up or go way because facts hurt your very small brain.

Suburban communities consume more than 3 times the electricity per person than urban communities. The combined suburban per person energy consumption is about 4 or 5 times that of urban per person energy consumption. This is a conservative figure, because much of the increased energy usage appears as transportation.

Residential, Commercial and transportation account for 2/3 of the energy consumption. By increasing energy efficiency of in these areas, there is more than enough energy for commercial applications.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('11158','Timothy Webster','Aaron, Someday you will either wake up or go way because facts hurt your very small brain.\r\n\r\nSuburban communities consume more than 3 times the electricity per person than urban communities.
Hello Paul, did you know China has recently built a new nuclear power plant in Southern China. And they plan to build more. Their per-capital energy consumption is already far lower than North America.

Perhaps, we in North America suffer from poor planning or perhaps no planning.

Get your head out of the sand. And address the real problem, energy inefficiency and waste, caused by bad/no planning in North America. We need to start now. It will take years of work and rebuilding to undo what we have created. But if we don't start now, the correction shock will only be bigger when it comes.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('11156','Timothy Webster','Hello Paul, did you know China has recently built a new nuclear power plant in Southern China.
"‘Painful emission cuts’? I suppose liposuction is painful too, but for massively overweight people whose lives are endangered by their own bulk it’s a freaking medical necessity."

Like I say, use this as your campaign slogan in Ontario. It's time to perform liposuction on the Ontario manufacturing sector, Vote Liberal!

"China and India were repeatedly asking for aid in reaching climate reduction targets (as in new technology to replace old, inefficient types), but were continually denied by the pro-pollution lobby of Canada, USA, Russia and Japan."

Forget new technology, perhaps Canadian taxpayers could pay for whole Chinese factories! Another Liberal campaign plank!

"And still the effort of those two countries in bringing down their own emissions puts us to shame."

Yep, and the reductions by the U.S. under Bush put Canada under the Liberals to shame, too. Your point?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('11155','Aaron','"‘Painful emission cuts’?
The disease is energy inefficiency and waste. Global warming and reduced competitiveness with more energy efficient Europe and Asian are only symptoms. Sorry to break it to you, our (yours and mine) energy inefficiency and waste are the cause of this disease. If you think otherwise, then you suffer from a horrible mental illness called denial.

Wake up from denial and address the disease. The effects of our disease are already long overdue. Far greater Global warming is only a few years away, and so is reduced competitiveness.

"Maybe painful emissions cuts are necessary, if we are to achieve the Kyoto targets by 2012. We should have dealt with it in 1994, instead of now. Subject the sectors you mention to the medicine that Harris imposed on us Ontarians."

Okay. Run on that platform. And don't forget to mention that China gets a free pass. Because you could fire every worker in the province of Ontario and destroy the livelihood of every family in that province, and it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference as long as China continues to emit under the terms of the agreement reached by these heroes at Bali.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('11148','Aaron','"Maybe painful emissions cuts are necessary, if we are to achieve the Kyoto targets by 2012. We should have dealt with it in 1994, instead of now. Subject the sectors you mention to the medicine that Harris imposed on us Ontarians."\r\n\r\nOkay.
Make sure we give extra cash to China so they can bolster the over trillion dollars of cash reserves they already have to buy more arms and resource companies around the world.

Let's see...we can cut our emissions in half, allow theirs to go up by double and see the total net emissions go up well over 175%.

In 10 years, the world will have to cough up additional compensation for forcing the third world to turn into a toxic mess.
