And I suspect no one is really contemplating invasion, but rather raising the rhetoric to get the Pakistanis to take the border issue seriously. It's going to be impossible to gain normal security in Afghanistan as long as Taliban insurgents can use safe havens in Pakistan where we can't touch them, and the Pakistan Army can't be bothered to touch them.
