Terrorism, pure and simple. We can only hope that somewhere along their trail of destruction they left some clue as to their identity.

Unfortunately of forewarning of whats to come in the up coming election. Care needs to be taken to insure people who play dirty tricks don’t get away with it.

Sure sets a glowing picture of the people of Guelph doesn’t it.

My view - Harper is responsible, indirectly, for this.

He has governed and spewed hatred and revved up hatred.

Harper is creating monsters - he’s influencing criminal activity.

Wasn’t there a similar episode after Martha Hall Findley’s win? Liberal supporters had their tires slashed. I hope the police go all out to catch the people who did this.

Isn’t this what happens when right-wingers get uppity?

PS: Why do Reich-wingers get to consolidate their vote and progressives have to divide ours between several parties. It’s time for a progressive party of Canada!

Occam’s Razor … the Liberals have most likely self-inflicted these faux-attacks upon themselves just to garner sympathy and get their names in the media … that’s how desperate they are in Guelph.

Imagine, 10 Liberal homes and 6 Liberal cars … and since the election signs of all parties have been defaced during the summer holidays, the Liberals capitalize and deface and destroy their own properties just to gain sympathy and be able to accuse others, like the Conservatives, of illegal acts. You would have thought that spray painting was enough, but Liberals had to sabotage their cars too just to make it look more .. realistic …LOL

I’ll bet the Guelph police consider these Liberals as “persons of interest” …LOL

(Btw .. I abandoned Garth because of the election circus atmosphere on his fine forum and I didn’t want to piss on his parade … and I wasn’t banned …LOL)

@slg - If you want to read ‘hatred’ go to Garth’s forum … it’s filled with hatred and venom .. all approved by Herr Garth.

Not credible … 10 Liberal houses spray painted besides bedroom windows requiring ladders and 6 Liberal cars dinged up and damaged … and nobody even woke up to all the commotion???

Yeah .. shuuuuure …LOL

Harry.. you’re not turning my site into a troll-fest like you did at Garth’s. I’ll leave the postings up for now.. but you can go somewhere else to leave your spewing.

This act of convinces me that we need a Harper majority. Criminals like this need to be punished, and not receive house arrest.

You expect this kind of thing in Zimbabwe, or Pakistan, or Russia — but not in Canada. This is a total disgrace. I totally agree prison time is warranted in this case; in fact tampering with brake lines should be considered attempted murder.

Who’s behind it? I don’t know without definite proof; but if it turns out that it is rogue Conservatives, Harper will have a lot of questions to answer.

@BlastFurnace - Now this is what I would call “trolling” .. and vicious smearmongering too.

Bye Harry.

Vandalizing signs happens all the time - but spray painting homes and especially cutting brake lines are very serious. This is criminal activity, pure and simple. Whoever perpetrated these acts, if caught, should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

It’s pure speculation as to who’s responsible. It could have been Tories framing Dippers, Dippers framing Tories by framing themselves, Liberals framing either, or (most likely in my view) just some demented sicko who was more interested in harming people than in politics.

Frankly I don’t think it matters at all which party the perpetrators support, because it goes without saying no party would ever, ever, countenance this kind of activity or behaviour. It would be like saying that if a person went to a particular church every week and then committed a murder, that the entire church should be castigated - which is ridiculous.

I hope they catch the idiot(s) who did this for public safety’s sake!

Harry, you’ve clearly used the Occam’s Razor reference without understanding what it means.
